We seek excellence in every aspect of our business and are committed to minimising the environmental impacts of our operations and to work towards adopting the principles of an Environmental Management System.
To meet this policy aim, we will endeavour to co-operate with:
- The communities in which we operate, the government, regulatory bodies and other interested parties with the shared vision of being a good and trusted
neighbour.
- All new environmental legislation and regulations meet or improve upon all environmental legislation and regulations and relevant legislative, regulatory and environmental codes of practice and consider any environmental issues in the decision-making process. These include:

• Site Waste Management Regulations 2005
We also aim to:
- Develop objectives that target environmental improvements and monitor performance by regular review. Continually improve our environmental performance
and integrate recognised environmental management best practice into our business.
- Develop a relationship with suppliers and contractors so that we all recognise our environmental responsibilities and work with our employees, service partners
and suppliers to promote improved environmental performance.
- Ensure environmental, including climate change, criteria are taken into account in the procurement of goods and services.
- Educating staff so that they carry out their activities in an environmentally responsible manner, communicate the importance of environmental issues and
encourage feedback.
Provide for the effective use of resources by:
- Promoting the efficient use of resources, energy and fuel throughout the company’s operations and maximising the use of renewable energy sources where
possible, minimisation by recycling both internally and amongst our customers, and finding other uses for by-products whenever economically viable and
maximising the re-use of materials and products.
- Minimise energy use and its associated CO2 emissions, raw materials consumption, polluting toxic emissions to air, land and water and the use of water.
- Maximise the recycling and use of recycled materials and products, the use of material from renewable sources and the use of local products and local
workforce
- Assess the environmental impacts of all working practices and product manufacture, the whole life environmental performance of all purchases.
